Treasures In Heaven

Well lots has happened over these past couple weeks so I think I'll go with a list to cover the highlights: -Kotor trip (see pictures) to meet some Turkish carpet makers to put us in connection with all their friends who want to learn the gospel. Learned more than I ever thought I would about expensive silk carpets haha. Met with our friend there and had a great discussion as we walked along the walls of the city, he invited us to come back and share our thoughts at his 7th day Adventist congregation! Should be interesting -Had some great lessons with our returning members. They are striving to come back to church and loved reading the scriptures together with us and learning from the words of Christ. The members here are true pioneers and I have such a great respect for each of them. -Went up to a city called Berane in the mountains to deliver some Bibles and Book of Mormons but God had other plans.. We ended up finding another 2 people at a bus stop and then another guy that appr...

"We Have All Drunk From Wells We Didn't Dig"...

R&R was a success!! We made it to Zagreb Tuesday and stayed all week since there weren't any flights until Saturday. Needless to say, we had a great time :)  Elder Jones absolutely crushed it in his lesson on the Plan of Salvation, leading the charge and going first. The Spirit was present through every day.  Once R&R was over, Elder Jones and I stuck around for a couple more days and got to go to some fun activities with the Zagreb missionaries. Game night at the church was awesome, dunking on some 12 year old kids and then playing cover your assets with an Italian guy who would yell or freak out every time someone stole from him haha. (Needless to say, that just motivated us to steal more from him) The next day we got to ...

Quick one! Elder Jones and I are headed to R&R tomorrow and we're SO STOKED!!! (Return & Report is where all the trainers and trainees get together at the 6 week mark and teach some lessons, recite some scriptures, and learn from each other) Hopefully it all works out with all the covid going around at the moment. I'll share what I learned in my next email :) Spiritual thought: A scripture that has stood out to me a lot recently is when the disciples ask Jesus, "Who is the greatest in heaven?" And how does Jesus answer? "And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, and said...Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven." (Matt 18:1-4)  I think there is a special significance of why Jesus asks us to become like a little child. Children are innocent, pure. Children trust in their parents. Children possess the ability to truly rejoice in one another's suc...
