Make Love The Foundation

What a week! Some of the highlights:

-Traveled to a city called Cetinje and met with this Orthodox priest and his wife, they were so cool and shared their experiences searching (and still searching) for the true faith. We had a powerful discussion on the Holy Ghost and we all felt it touch our hearts as we prayed at the end.

-Went on a hike with one of our friends from Bolivia and had a great talk about marriage and eternal families! I love teaching this truth and seeing the peace and hope it brings to stressful situations and decisions in the lives of others.

-Had a tender mercy as a former investigator (met with the first missionaries here Montenegeo years ago) ran into us on the street and needed a blessing that day! We went to the church and blessed him to receive comfort and follow the promptings of the Spirit and afterwards he asked if we would teach him all the lessons again starting this week!

Spiritual thought:
I have always liked the principle of sharing the gospel by just living our lives. Simply living the truths we know and sharing the joy we feel because we love God and our brothers and sisters around us. Your daily life is such a powerful testimony to those around you, and if you are trying to live like Christ did you will bring others to Him as well. "Love ought to be the foundation of everything we do." There is so much truth to that statement. Choose to obey because you love God. Choose to serve because you love others. And choose to change because you love yourself and your Savior. Find a way to make love that foundation of your life each day! Life will become so much sweeter and full of joy as we do so.
