The Book of Mormon
This week went by crazy fast! I'm enjoying Karlovac and learning more about the missionary work and language these past few days. We have amazing members here that I am constantly learning from, their testimonies are so strong. We also had some cool experiences talking to people "by the way" on buses and walking to and from appointments. Grateful for every day I get to serve.
I really love the Book of Mormon. I used to not be able to say that truthfully haha, it was more of a chore that needed to be done for a long time. But now I wake up and have a DESIRE to open that book and hear what God wants to teach me. And many times what I read is as much for others I meet as it is for me. I love the peace I feel when I start out the day on my knees in prayer and take the time to read the Book of Mormon. It shapes everything I do, every decision I make that day. If you're not reading the Book of Mormon every day, make time for it! This isn't just a commandment from the prophet, I really want everyone to have the same peace and direction I feel each day as I read and pray! I promise it's real and available for you.
