No Effort Is Wasted

We had transfers and I'm still here in Zagreb but with Elder Poulson!! (Good friends from the MTC). He's awesome and it's always a good time serving together!

This week was full of new missionaries, workouts, planning, traveling, trainings, lessons, and a few special miracles. One of them for me was our friend, a less active member, coming to church on Sunday. We spent so much time last transfer trying to stay in touch with him, support him, and invite him but with no results. But the moment he walked into church on Sunday, all of it was worth it. He was just glowing and member after member came up and hugged him, telling him how much they missed him and loved him. He told me after how much each call, each message, each prayer meant to him. He said he would never have made it without each of those efforts.

I love the principle here that no effort is wasted. When we do our part, when we show our faith, the Lord will work His miracles in His time and in His way. It can be so hard to realize that in the moment when we can't see the results, but don't give up! Remember that God loves you and will always keep His promises. He will always be there for you if we allow Him to prevail in our lives!
